If you tune it right and not ride it so hard, you wot have to worry abut an engine swap.

| Yea...If thats the case....get a lower mileage motor and then put in the turbo. If you have super high mileage, then your chances of blowin the motor will be greater even if you do boost really low. | |

Thats exactly what I am thinking I rather test it out and see what it can do on the engine I have now if I get a back up so when I do blow its no biggie haha

| If it blows, are you going to get a GS-T/GSX motor? If that's what you do, then you could just jump straight to that first since it's already has a turbo in it. However, using the GSX motor might not work because the GSX is AWD instead of FWD so you might have a problem. ^^^^I'm not 100% though because it's a Mitsubishi and my knowledge about Mitsubishi cars is limited. With Toyota, the 2JZ-GTE and 2JZ-GE use different trannies[when using manual trannies] and different drive shafts, rear differentials, sensors, brakes, etc. so it might be like that too. Just a heads up. If you need a mechanic, I know just the right person. MrSquiggles can vouch for me. | |

| both the GS-T/GSX have the Same 46G3T Engine but to put one in my car would take too much custom fab and money people have done it but if I was going to spend money like that Id find a clean GSX to buy. Thanks for the offer for the machanic but I would have a few guys that may help me that have done a few times before but they would be there to keep an eye on me no better way to learn your car than to do your own work | |

| The thing about the SuperCharger I dont like is that it takes power from the engine to run although the no lag and wine would be sick too though ha but turbo lag is fun too cause your just driving and then when you hit boost it feels that much faster | |

It all depends on what your going for. If you racing straight aways, then I would get a SC. 1/4 mile you ill want to get out of the hole faster. Hence, SC running at 100%!!! If you just want to sound cool and have power when you are in no rush, TC is fine...with a little help from the bottle for the last minuet races. I would only get a TC for the blowoff valve!!!! LOL!!!

The closest way you are gonna get that "anti-lag" is getting the HKS Boost Controller and bossting at the lowest setting there is. But even when you do that, at such a low RPM, there might be a chane a turbo lag still since the turbo hasnt spolled up enough air and could "blow it up" I have seen it happen to a couple of Hondas.....but of course, they were Hondas...LOL!!!!

| Well even in the twisties, a no lag response is good, but the power it takes to power a SC is the same as your AC, but think of it this way, SC cheaper and -15hp to gain 60, fair trade to me | |
