My NEW truck

hey Yoshi, eat your heart out, guess what truck I just got. Its the one that im pretty sure you wanted, the traxxas e-revo, and i just put the mambe monster system in it. Also i am looking for the right batterys for it now, im thinking two 5000Mah 2-cell lipos, hehehe, should be balistic. ofcourse it is already fast with two 4600 Nimh's, but you know me, i gots have more power.

id love somthign big like that but i dont have enough money to fund the lipo and brushless required to power that thing!

i want one of those too, as soon as my store gets one. As for the big one, it is nuts, i ended up getting 2 4900 3-cell lipos for it. HOLLY CRAP, it will back flip all the way over on to its tires from a dead stop, and can wheelie at any speed, all the way up to 45mph, i love it.

yeah, I love them, they are HPI Agressors, they hook iup really well on pavement, and have great traction in the dirt, but will still let the car drift around in the corner, which is what i want.

which MMM motor did u get?
if you have the 2200kv it would be smarter to get two 3s lipos with less mah
its more powerfull and more efficient, and even tho you have less mah you will get about the same run times because its more efficient

u want more voltage and less kv to get max efficiency
efficiency = longer runtime

and for some reason ive always loved badlands... they are offroad only but dang do they looks agressive!

i have the 2200, yeah, but i wanted the top speed that the higher mah would give, and even with the 4900s the motor stays cool enough to stay plenty efficent, i havnt even had the fan in the esc kick in yet. Also, the spur is the stock one, which is 64 teeth i believe and the pinion is an 18 tooth, which is one less then stock, so the truck is geared more on the torque side of the power band, which is how i like it anyways.

mah doesnt determine speed
only runtime

voltage determines power and speed

if u want more speed and power you should get dual 3s lipos maybe like 4000mah
or 3000mah, whatever you can afford
should give you 35 - 45 min ish with insane amounts of torque and speed
if geard right you can get it over 60mph

mah has some affect on speed, not as much as voltage i know, but i have seen a difference in my slash from a 4200 and a 4600 battery, and the 4200 was the newer battery. I have done the math (and by "I", i mean a buddy of mine) with the right gears i could do 66.7 MPH, but it would suffer off the line, id rather have useable speed, so 45mph is fine

so what brand lipos and what charger are you going to get?

I got Rhino Lipos and a Prodigy Pro-peak II charger. Iv had the charger for a awhile and and iv had the lipos for a few weeks.
