| Ok ive been lookin around online and talked to some people and im gunna either paint my engine cover or get a new one. Ive looked around online and found some UGLY chrome ones and some whatever looking ones but i think ill paint the one ive got. no biggie i guess but what do u guys think. My buddy told me to paint it the same color as my car, and that makes sense to me but the shadow mica just seems like it wouldnt stand out in my engine compartment. i was thinking going a blue to match my interior lighting, and i like to keep the underglow on blue but i dont know if that would look good with color and all that. what do you guys think? seriously any input is good input. if i went blue id seriously like HAVE to mount some lights in my engine compartment, and well... my engine compartment isnt too nice(its an xB) AANNNDD ive got a lot of wiring i need to make nice heh. If i went mica.... well id need to order the paint from toyota... and im hella lazy. Heres a pic that really made me want to do it. and heres what a stock looks like thanks for any input guys | |

This will give you a reason to keep things clean most of the time in the engine bay!!!! When I went to shows....took me 9 hours to wash/clean my car! Just ask Ohhhnemo....LOL!!!!

| ok all the decision has been made, im going to paint my cover blue. and i will get blue wngine bay lights....sigh....i was hoping i didnt have to clean up my egine bay hahahahaha. but yeah, the decision will be made eventually whether its white or blue lettering so yeah. if i start it soon ill make sure to put up progress pictures. just look at theis picture and think of blue lighting, with my blue underbody, WITH my blue cover. one more question, which oil cap do you guys like, the fancy trd, or the nice grey billet( yes its actually billet) AEM cap. I am kinda leaning towards the TRD since i have a K&N intake heh. but yeah whatcha think | |

| Ok....Blue cover with White letters. Blue engine bay lights, black light under your strut bar.
No gloss needed. Just make sure you sand REAL REAL GOOD and primer it real good too!!!!
Go with the GReddy Oil cap. They are also in blue or silver and look super sweet, and its better than AEM and TRD...(I will never support TRD).

| Hmmmmm....
Look at that xB Scion oil cap. There are no grooves to grip to take off the oil cap. Look at the sticker. The "x" on it is a weird font. And the Scion logo and "Scion" word s under the "xB". So its looks really....."cheap".
However, look at the Decepticon cap. You could get hat cap, and replace the sticker with a "xB" decal. And the grip on it is perfect (almost like the GReddy one).
But over all...its your car and if you like something more than me, DO IT!!!! But Im jus giving you the point factor and what could be a problem in the long run.
