| All right guys!! soo see if you can help me out with this!
I was on the phone and talking to this old man.. apparently.. im not sure.. he owns a mazda rx8... within a month of purchasing the vehicle , the check engine light came on...pretty much he cant get the "check engine" light off...so covered under warranty he went to get it fixed and they said it was the gas cap thing.. that didnt work.. so they said it was something else.. and so on and so forth.. he still doesnt know whats going on with his vehicle.. to this day.
i felt bad for him and he was literally talking to me on the phone for 14 minutes!! thats pretty damn long! and i couldn't hang up on him.. i mentioned that he should sue the company or something.. hahha
what do you guys think he should do??
he gave me his name and number if anyone would like to help him out!!!

| We have a scanner for OBD II. It'll give a code and wha-la you'll find what the car thinks is wrong.
I think the Mazda Dealership should have done it for him though.
Did he buy the car new? If he bought it used, what kind of warrantee does he have? I thought warranties are supposed to be free?

I thought warranties are supposed to be free? Yes. They SHOULD have no matter what. Only if the car was modified, then they wouldnt do it. Yes, it was new. Its a Mazda 3 btw. 2006 I think. Original dealrehip warranties ARE free, but there is fine pint!!
